Why SwitchRunner

Better control of appliance usage means managing costs, offering more convenience and savings to patrons while lowering your carbon footprint

Enhance the Guest Experience

By integrating our technology into high energy consumption appliances such as air conditioners, heaters, dryers and washing machines, hotels can offer guests a wider range of amenities while managing costs.

Transparent Pricing

One of the key advantages of pay per use appliances is the ability for hotels to monetize these amenities.

Rather than including the cost of using these appliances in the room rate, hotels can offer guests the option to pay for their usage on a per-use basis.

This not only provides a transparent pricing model but also allows guests to have more control over their expenses.

Better Efficiency and Lower Carbon Footprint

Pay per use appliances can help hotels reduce energy consumption and lower operational costs. With the ability to track usage patterns and optimize energy usage, hotels can minimize waste and contribute to a more sustainable future.

This not only benefits the environment but also allows hotels to save on utility bills, leading to long-term cost savings. Say goodbye to heaters and air-conditioners left on for hours unattended!

Convenience and Customization

Imagine arriving at a hotel and having the ability to request a variety of appliances, such as a coffee maker, portable heater, air fryer, or even a gaming console.

With pay-per-use appliances, this is now a reality. Hosts can charge a flat rate throughout the stay of a guest while offering additional amenities without affecting the rate.

Low Once-Off Appliance 'Conversion' Costs

Vending machines are typically expensive to purchase and service. Consumer equipment is much cheaper, easier to source and you most likely already have appliances in your possession.

With our solution you can add a pay to use service to most existing appliances that is affordable and simple to install meaning that it will not void any warranties or require a certificate of compliance from an electrician.

Commission Based Fees, No Monthly Subscription

There are no hidden costs or monthly subscription fees. We charge 15% commission per transaction and the vendor is responsible for transaction fees.

Built in dashboards and reporting makes managing and keeping track of orders simple. A voucher system and bypass system is also available for when you want to offer free services or make use of your equipment.
